  • Barstow International Gateway; BNSF Railway, Barstow, California

    Nomad Biological provided a crew of experienced desert biologists to conduct protocol desert tortoise, burrowing owl and Mojave fringe-toed lizard surveys on a 4,000 acre site. 2023-current.

  • San Vicente Emergency Storage Facility Project; San Diego Water Authority, Lakeside, California

    As part of a large team of subconsultants, we assisted with protocol California Gnatcatcher surveys and jurisdictional waters and wetlands mapping. 2023.

  • SR-76 and SR-78 Fuels Reduction Project; Caltrans District 11, San Diego County, California

    Nomad Biological provided Lead Construction Monitor services and nesting bird biologist support for the inaugural fire fuels prevention program led by Caltrans. 2022.

  • SDG&E Wildfire Fuels Management Project

    Working as a subconsultant, Nomad Biological conducted construction compliance, nesting bird surveys and pre- and post- construction reporting for the San Diego Gas & Electric Wildfire Fuels Management Program. The program focuses on reducing the risk of point source wildfire ignitions in the high fire threat areas and protecting electric infrastructure. 2024.
